Udayabhanu
hails from a political family. His father Samineni Vishwanatham was for
23 years the sarpanch of Jaggaiahpet. Inspired by his father, Udaybhanu
joined the Youth Congress and led several movements in the Jaggaiahpeta
region. He had also worked as the president of the PSES and the
director of the KDCC Bank. A staunch follower of YSR, he worked as PCC
secretary when YSR was its president. Elected an MLA in 1999 and 2004,
he was the Government whip in his second term. He is now the Krishna
district YSRCP convener.|
