M.V.R.Prasad Reddy



An AISF activist in his sophomore years, Reddy later went on to become the chairman of the SV Degree College. He was also the Kadapa district secretary of the CPI. From 2005 to 2010, he was a corporator in Kadapa and his wife Indira too has been a councilor. A post-graduate, Reddy had joined the Congress in 2008 and had later chosen to remain with Y.S. Jagan. He is now the state convener of the YSC Congress Party mandal conveners’ executive committee.

M.V.S.Nagireddy



An aqua farmer from Jagannathapuram near Gudivada, MVS Nagireddy is a life sciences post-graduate. As a farmer and aquaculturist, he had addressed several national and international workshops and had bagged several best farmer awards.  A member of the ICAR and the National Farmers’ Selection Committee,  Reddy was the vice-president of the AP RythangaSamakhya, an organization that is in the forefront of the farmers’ struggles, for eight continuous years. He is also in the forefront of promoting education and is actively involved with the governance of KT Reddy Women’s College, VKR and DNV College in Gudivada. He is the convener of the YSR  CP KisanVibhag.

Medapati Venkat



Lived in the US, where he was management consultant for credit card divisions of several banks. In his capacity as the vice-president and the senior consultant, he had travelled widely all across the Americas, Europe, the Middle-East and the APAC regions. Though born and brought up in Hyderabad and armed with an engineering degree from JNTU, Kukatpalli, he shifted to the US, where he secured MS and MBA degrees. Passion to serve the downtrodden has drawn him towards late YSR and Jagan. Actively associated with several NGOs, he strongly believes that YS Jagan alone could fill the void created by the sad demise of YSR and put the state back on peace, growth and prosperity track. He wishes to make YSR Congress strong with the support of NRIs.

Putta Prathap Reddy



Talasila Raghuram



Hailing from Gollapudi in Vijayada rural mandal, Raghuram has been an active in politics from his student days and was actively involved in United Independents. Later, in 1993, he became the president of the District Youth Congress. A staunch follower of YS Jagan, Raghuram had taken active part in several movements as the Youth Congress President. Now, he is the coordinator of the YSR CP’s programe committee and is playing a key role in the organizing of the prestigious OdarpuYatra.

Vangapandu Usha



VangapanduUsha, daughter of redoubtable balladeer Vangapandu Prasad, is a balladeer of repute herself. Always in the forefront of the struggles of the masses, Usha articulated through her songs the travails and tribulations of the poor and the uncared for. Under the tutelage of the likes of Chalasani Prasad and Gaddar, she honed her skills and went on to become an underground activist of the People’s War Group, which she had later left. As the vice-president of the cultural wing of the YSR Congress party, she is active in propagating the ideals of the YSR CP through her songs and dance.

Kotimreddy Vinay Reddy



Grandson of former CM KasuBrahmananda Reddy, Vijay was active in the NSUI before working as the general secretary and vice-president respectively of the Andhra Pradesh Youth Congress. He played a pivotal role in the last four elections to the assembly and Parliament in Narsaraopet in ensuring Congress victory. He was active participant in the YSR’s famed padayatra and the DandiYatra organized to commemorate Mahatma’s salt satyagraha. He has been active in politics for the past 15 years.

HA Rahman



Rahman was the president of the minorities unit of the TRS from 2001 and 2007 and then its politburo member, general secretary and an MLC from 2004 to 2007. Later, he had joined the Congress Party in the presence of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He is now YSR Congress Party central governing council member, state minority cell in-charge, party coordinator and its joint secretary. He is also the official spokesperson of the YSRCP.

Gattu Ramchandra Rao


Hailing from a toddy-tappers’ family, GattuRamachandraRao was a political activist from his student days. He later joined the CPM and was the member of state unit of the party’s farm labourers’wing between 1996 and 2008. He was also the secretary of the RythuSangham. Gattuhad also dabbled in journalism and had edited the “Handicrafts’ Magazine and the “RythuVaani.” In 2009, he left the CPM and joined the Congress, wherein he had served as the state general secretary of the KisanKhetMazdoorSangh and the convener of the Telangana All-Party RythuSanghams’ Joint Action Committee. Post- the demise of YSR, he left the Congress and joined YS Jagan. Besides being an official spokesperson of the YSR CP, he is the state convener of the YSR CP BC Cell.

Chittarvu Nageswar Rao



Challa Madhusudhan Reddy


Though a US-based software professional, Challa was soon drawn to social service activities, especially in his native village, where he had got the veterinary hospital building constructed. The building was inaugurated by Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy. His social service activities are channelized through the As the YSR AashayaSaadhanaPorataSamiti, of which he is the president. He is currently the state convener of the party’s technical wing.

Kolli Nirmala Kuamari




Hails from Kapileswarapuram in East Godavari district; NirmalaKumari joined politics in 2001 and was elected a ZPTC on Congress ticket. She has been with the YSR Congress from its early stages. Her husband Rajaratnam, a lawyer, too has joined the party since its inception. NirmalaKumari has built a strong base in Alamuri, Mandapeta, Kapileswarapuram and Malkipurammandals of East Godavari district.
