Baji Reddy Gowardan
A
veteran politician, Bajireddy rose in politics from the grassroots
level. Born in 17th of February, 1954 in Desaipet of Karimnagar
district, he obtained BA degree through distance mode. His long
political career spanned from being Cheemanpallisarpanch in 1977 and
Sirikonda MPP in 1987 to become two-time MLA, first from Armoor in
Nizamabad and second time from Banswada at the behest of late YSR. A key
leader in Telangana region, he is general secretary of the party since
its founding in 2011. He is also member of the politburo and also of the
PAC.
Bhuma Nagireddy
Entering
politics at the young age of 21, Nagireddy went on to become MP thrice
and MLA twice. His political foray began in 1985 when he joined the TDP
and became the president of Narsapuram Society in Rudravarammandal. He
became an MLA from Allagadda in 1991 following the death of his brother,
a sitting MLA. He was returned from Allagadda in 1994 too. In 1996, he
had unsuccessfully contested parliamentary against the then Prime
Minister PV NarasimhaRao from Nandyal. Later, when PV had vacated the
seat, Nagireddy notched up an emphatic win with a staggering 4 lakh
majority in 1997. He had won again in 1999. He resigned from the TDP and
joined the PRP and unsuccessfully contested from NandyalLokSabha
constituency. Later, he had joined the YSR CP.

D.A. Somayajulu
Somayajulu
was the advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh on finance,
commerce and policy implementation during Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy-era.
He was also the chairperson of the Agricultural Technology Mission. He
is the brain behind late YSR’s flagship scheme that envisaged free power
to the farm sector. A chartered accountant and advocate, Somayajulu was
also the executive director of the APIDC.
