The law of land again saved
the Ramoji who has been waging a tireless war against the YSR regime. Justice
Rohini, who happened to be cousin to Pervarm Ramulu, DG during Naidu ruling and
now active member of TDP, has saved Ramoji this time from severe
embarrassment.
Now again it will take years
to get him punished for his unlawful collection of
deposits.

HYDERABAD,
JULY 8. A Division Bench of the High Court, comprising Chief Justice Devinder
Gupta and Justice Rohini, on Thursday dismissed the writ petition filed seeking
enquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the alleged
disproportionate assets of the former Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu.
The writ
petition was filed prior to the general elections by the present Minister, Kanna
Lakshminarayana and another person.
The petitioners
alleged that Mr. Naidu amassed wealth disproportionate to his known and declared
sources of income and it has to be enquired into. They alleged that the State
police were not acting due to political pressure.
In a 19-page
judgment, the Bench dismissed the case at preliminary stage holding that it does
not warrant issuance of notices to the Government.
The Bench did
not appreciate the action of the petitioners in filing such a case just before
the general elections.
The Bench
further said that the complaints referred to by the petitioners were filed long
ago.
The Bench
further noticed that with the same set of facts some writ petitions were filed
earlier. The Bench declared that this writ petition was not bonafide and
dismissed the case.
Mr. Naidu,
talking to reporters in the Assembly lobbies, said this was among the series of
cases filed by Congress leaders. All the cases were either dismissed or
withdrawn by petitioners themselves.
